A summer rain came late in the evening. One of those storms not predicted, drenching and quickly passing. I traveled home from town just as the storm subsided. Quickly moving clouds parted to let the last of the sun’s rays kiss the hillsides.
"Buffalo Marsh After the Rain" was created with soft pastel from local scene in Buffalo County, Wisconsin, part of the beautiful Driftless area of western Wisconsin; a part of the Midwest the glaciers never touched.
