Chicory on
Cherry Lake

A lazy summer day brought me to a riot of wildflowers. They were sunning by the edge of the Buffalo River backwater, known to locals as Cherry Lake". As I gazed, they all competed for attention. The Chicory and the Queen Anne's Lace took the prize for Best of Show! If you had an eagle's vision, you would see our farm house from this spot.
