To demonstrate, through Spirit Guide art, the magnitude of resources, ingenuity in messages from Guides and the infinite depth of support and compassion available from Divine Guidance.

To encourage an openness to exploring a personal relationship with Guides and provide practical advice to hearing and working with Guides.

CONTENT, ORGANIZATION & METHODS:

Getting to know your Spirit Guides and work with Guides aids all of us in a more resilient and easeful life.

This workshop introduces participants to introductory concepts of Spirit Guides and Star Families; who Guides are; ways Guides interact and communicate with humans; benefits of working with Guides; barriers to communication and techniques for developing a deeper relationship.

This introduction includes lecture using art and pictures, discussion, questions, journaling, and guided meditation.

Visual depictions of Guides and their messages help make real the unseen. In the first portion of the presentation, Kathleen uses the actual words of Guides from readings to introduce participants to a basic understanding of who Guides and Star Families are, how they help, understanding energies and frequency and an introduction to how to connect with Guides.

In the second portion of the presentation, Kathleen integrates pastel drawings into stories showing the messages of Guides; how they appear; and images they use to describe concepts, tasks, journeys and changes needed in our lives. Art assists participants in visualizing how Guides use metaphor, analogies and symbols to create much larger and multilayered messages for us.

The workshop conclusion focuses on practical aspects of living in close contact with Spirit Guides. Beginning to feel the energies of our personal Guides. Working with Divine Beings in a time of upheaval and change. How a spiritual Life in touch with Divine Guidance is more important now more than ever.

Kathleen invites us to discuss what works, what challenges we face and gently guides us to our own plan on how to integrate all we’ve learned.  The final portion of the presentation uses meditation,  journaling, and group discussion.

Throughout the presentation, participants grapple with key questions assisting us in getting into closer communication with our Guides:

How do we tell the difference between our Guides and the voice in our heads? How do  we make contact with Guides?

How do we invite our Guides into our lives?

What changes can we expect in our lives?

Prerequisite: Only a desire and openness to learn and connect with Spirit Guides. This class is a foundational class for the several more advanced classes including "Developing a Relationship with Spirit Guides", and "Meditate with your Spirit Guides.
